  • Dial: Original 7” diameter paper dials on zinc pans. Calendar dial is marked for the Lynch Brothers, who sold calendar clocks under contract from Ithaca.
  • Movement: Eight-day time and strike movement stamped for Ithaca Calendar Clock Company produced by E.N. Welch and H. B. Horton perpetual calendar mechanism (patented by Horton and produced by Ithaca Calendar Clock Company)
  • Movement features: Eight-day spring-driven movement with Welch club tooth escapement
  • Strike: Strikes the hours on nickel-plated bell
    Condition notes: “Index” is shown in reverse gold leaf on the door. The black walnut case has gold accented low-relief incised carving patterned after the designer Charles Eastlake. A rare find.
